Nori (Seaweeds)

Nori is the Japanese name for edible seaweed species of the red algae called Porphyra. Nori is also strong and distinctive flavor. It is used chiefly in Japanese cuisine as an ingredient to wrap rolls of sushi or onigiri, in which case the term refer to the dried sheets.

It is very rich in vitamins and minerals. Especially Iodine, but also contains Vitamin A,B1 B2,B6, niacin and C. May reduce heart disease and diabetes risk, and improving blood sugar control.
